Chase Building

                Have you ever noticed a beautiful building with deep slopes along  the Chicago Loop, this building is known as the Chase building or Chase Tower. The Chase building is very intriguing ,and  very beautifully built. Its curvy nature that  looks as if it is tilted. It was created by very creative designers Named C.F. Murphy Associates ,Stanislaw Z .Gladych, Perkin and Will . The Chase building was constructed  in 1966 and finally completed in 1969. With  a staggering  60 stories skyscraper which is 850 feet tall and 259 cm tall . This obviously was not a cheap experiment to be the tenth largest building in Chicago, by the way  there's many skyscraper in Chicago.This building was 2.2 millions dollars  and located in  the loop at 10 south Dearborn street

One of the characteristics of the Chase building is it  stands very close to the street .The chase building is very busy because at the end of the day its still a bank, and millions of people choose Chase as their bank . Theres also a lot  of other nice buildings all around it . It also has restaurants and office space the building sits close to the street, that why it’s easy to see how tall the building really is. The Chase building stands alone but it kinda look as if it has three curvy legs holding it up.It has a lot of landscaping around it and it doesn't have any trees or sorts around it  or pretty much by it at all.It doesn't relate to any of the buildings around it because its more of a newer better version of  all the rest in that small area , the others ones were like the old modernism and The Chase Tower is more appealing to the eye .The history of Chicago has influenced it because its made of steel, no wood at all just steel and concrete.

       The Chase building is definitely  made of  steel and it also is jet black with the silver lining. This lining is beautiful to the eye and to many people who come visit the city of Chicago. The Chase building is both international and post modernism style. The Chase building is a simple steel and black, 60 stories (850 ft , 259 meter) tall skyscraper. This building  was completed in 1969 and was constructed in 1966 with creators C.F Murphy. This was a staggering 2.2 million dollar project ,It is the tenth largest building in Chicago. It is known for the infamous bank and is located in the Chicago Loop at 10 S. Dearborn Street. It Is the thirty second tallest building in the United States of America .The Chase Tower is know for both its distinctive curve and shape and its vibrant public space and its a deep sunken plaza at the geographic center of the chicago loop .

The purpose of the chase building was provided credits,marger ,commercial banking   Auto loans ,investment  and retirement planning, checking ,student loans .The bank formerly had the headquarter of the bank one corporation and the building name was changed from Bank One Tower on october 24 ,2005 as a corporate merger . When I saw the lobby it was a ATM and accountants platforms and a plaza . It had a huge fountain for the hot summer days located in  the back of the tower. Because the chase building is so close to the street and sidewalks are narrow it becomes crowded easily. The way the building is  built it  doesn't make it any easier. When the Chase building was built when the the economy was growing  and improving and was good. The building has always been a bank plaza throughout its years.

             My experience was cool, I  honestly enjoyed the project .It was  altogether good and the Chase Tower was a very beautiful and creatively built  building that we got the pleasure of studying  . It a building thats in the downtown chicago loop thats been here for years and its been changed around to the chase bank and took about three years to finish all the way back in 1966, by the same constructors who constructed the now willis tower back then sears tower.
